FEC Is an Ever-Growing Group of Believers

An update about newly participating churches and church campuses

If you regularly attend a church affiliated with the Fellowship of Evangelical Churches, you’re part of an ever-growing group of believers. This year, in addition to celebrating natural, sustainable growth in individual churches, we are welcoming several new congregations into the fellowship, giving us the opportunity to impact additional communities for Christ.

Some congregations are changing their status from “FEC church plant” to “FEC congregation;” others are previously established churches that are making the decision to identify with us in the cause of reaching the world for Christ; still others are site campuses of churches within our fellowship. These newly participating churches and church campuses include:

  • Christ the King Church in Cincinnati, Ohio
  • Crossroads Evangelical Church, Napoleon Campus, in Napoleon, Ohio
  • Grace Community Fellowship Church in Hillsboro, Kansas
  • Grace Crossing Church in Moundridge, Kansas
  • Mission Church in Fort Wayne, Indiana
  • Northwoods Community Church, Chillicothe Campus, in Chillicothe, Illinois
  • Northwoods Community Church, Galesburg Campus, in Galesburg, Illinois
  • The Real Tree Church in Farmington, Minnesota

In addition, FEC continues to support nine church plants across the United States—everywhere from Denver, Colorado, to Portland, Maine, with several church plants dotting the landscape of America’s heartland in Kansas, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.

And don’t forget the international initiatives in Spain and West Africa, where we continue to see God open doors for ministry. (You can learn more about these initiatives at fecministries.org.)

When you think about it, this kind of growth is exactly what we should all be expecting, given our mission of “establishing reproducing churches worldwide.” And while we certainly celebrate the greater numbers of churches identifying with us, we ultimately care more about the spread of the Gospel and the expansion of God’s kingdom. By welcoming these new churches into our larger body, we are able to do more collectively to reach a hurting and dying world with God’s love.
