Changing Markets, Changing Lives

A preview of Chad Causey’s plenary session for the 2014 Ignite Convention

“The church has never had more significant ambitions—or challenges—in developing relevant, fruitful ministry than it does today.”

Other than during the founding of our country and the Industrial Revolution, North America is changing more aggressively than at any other time in history. Words such as “transform,” “impact,” and “outcomes” are at the nexus of those changes in the North American market. Interestingly, those concepts are also very, very rich within the church market today as well.

As pastors, we’ve all heard about and are aware of these changes, but how do those concepts translate into relevant ministry? What are the implications of how we’re doing ministry in light of these global shifts? What does it mean to pursue “transformation” and the “common good”?

In the upcoming FEC “Ignite” Convention, speaker Chad Causeywill tackle those questions head on, presenting a conceptual framework for some of the important shifts that are taking place in the U.S. market—and indeed the global market that the church is trying to serve. Even more important, he’ll offer significant, systematic ways to make sure our message is delivered in a way that’s relevant to the people we’re hoping to reach. Specifically, how do we do that? What’s the process? What needs to change?

If you’d like to design a ministry that is both relevant and fruitful in a rapidly changing world, this is one convention you won’t want to miss! Be sure to register online today.
