Time for some Rest and Relaxation

An update from the West Africa Initiative by Ashley Freytag

In just a few short days (Saturday), my teammates and I will all gather together for some rest and relaxation. This is much needed as Masters are on their 3rd year of service while Sprungers and I are on our 2nd. We will be meeting at a retreat center where we can enjoy the swimming pool, ocean, prepared meals, team bonding time, etc. Not only will the environment be refreshing, but a small team from one of our FEC churches will be joining us from Kansas! They are coming prepared to lead us in the retreat through Bible studies and worship. We will also devote some of the time towards team building and discussions.

Please join us in prayer for this time. For the team who is coming out pray for safety in all their travels, for their families back home whom they are leaving for a short time and may be concerned about Ebola, and that they may be blessed by this experience. Pray for our Yalunka team that we may be refreshed as we join in fellowship with the American team and take time to slow down and seek the Lord as individuals and together as a team. Pray that we would be in unity with each other and in step with the Spirit as we move forward together in reaching the Yalunka.

Pictured above is the team that will be joining us (minus the little girl). This picture was take during their commissioning service on Sunday.
