Join us at Miracle Camp & Retreat Center in southern Michigan for the Ministry Leaders Getaway, September 15-18, 2025! This midweek retreat is designed to refresh your spirit, recharge your energy, and foster meaningful connections with ministry leaders from across the Fellowship. We can’t wait to see you there! What’s the schedule look like?

While we’re still putting the finishing touches on the plans, here’s what you can look forward to: a laid-back, flexible schedule designed to help you unwind, recharge, and engage with others. The getaway kicks off with dinner on Monday evening and wraps up with a final session on Thursday morning.

We’ve partnered with Miracle Camp to ensure you’ll enjoy delicious, top-notch meals that go far beyond what you’d expect from “camp food.” Trust us—your taste buds are in for a treat!

For those looking to explore or try something new, we’ve lined up optional, free off-site excursions. Whether it’s a round of golf, a visit to a charming Lake Michigan beach town, or other area adventures, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

There will also be a handful of group times to encourage and unite you as a spiritual leader who needs a safe haven for your own heart.

At its heart, this time is all about you—relax, savor every moment, and head home feeling refreshed and re-energized!

Where are we staying?

Our stay will be at the beautiful Miracle Camp & Retreat Center in southern Michigan, with three lodging options:

Private Rooms for couples
Stay in one of Miracle Camp’s comfortable hotel-style rooms. With only 23 rooms available, these will fill quickly on a first-come, first-served basis. However we have arranged for additional accommodations at a nearby hotel just 15 minutes away. If you’re a married couple attending together, we encourage you to register early to secure your spot—and take advantage of the early-bird discount!

Same-Gender Lodging for individuals
For individuals attending without their spouse this is the perfect option to connect with others! We have individual beds available in same-gender lodging. Space is limited and may fill up fast, so early registration is essential.

Downtime, yes. Unorganized, not necessarily. The laid-back schedule will afford a variety of structured opportunities to connect with others. We are working hard to ensure all participants leave refreshed, recharged for ministry, and more strongly connected to other ministry leaders.

Will there be speakers, workshops, and other conference-like elements that could be available via livestream?

There will be facilitated times of interactive instruction and encouragement, though they will not dominate the schedule. The sessions will not take on a conference-type format or be livestreamed.

Whether coming as an individual or as a ministry couple, this getaway is designed for you. While many of Miracle Camp and Retreat Center’s lodges are bunkhouse style, this will be an adult retreat. Linens are provided, no one will have to climb a bunk bed, and you will not be crammed into a bunkhouse like a bunch of summer campers. The accommodations simply don’t allow space for every person to have a private room. If you have a desire to share a cabin with a specific individual or two, there will be opportunities after registration to make that known.

Our churches are led by an incredible number of paid, volunteer, credentialed, and non-credentialed ministry leaders. Unfortunately, due to accommodation limitations, we are only able to offer the Ministry Leaders Getaway to FEC credentialed leaders.

Once registration closes, we will be reaching out to registered participants to gain a better understanding of specific interests. That said, no one will find themselves in the position of having to engage in an activity or excursion that is of no interest to them.

Every time of year presents a unique scheduling challenge. Mid-September is a beautiful time of year in Southwest Michigan. The Monday evening to Thursday morning schedule is intended to provide ample travel time between Sunday responsibilities. We’re confident the getaway will be worth your effort.

As with any getaway, trying to shorten it will result in diminishing returns. Your engagement in the entirety of the getaway will be more fruitful for you and others. We strongly encourage you to prioritize full attendance.

Yes. Our desire is to make this a low or no-cost getaway to as many of our leaders as possible. However, there are real costs involved, and logistics must be planned. Cancellations received before June 15 can be refunded.
