We askedyou answered!

We asked member congregations to share how they spread the love of Jesus during the Christmas season. The results are in, and they’re pretty amazing! Collectively, FEC congregations are poised to touch well over 5,000 people—both locally and globally—with the gospel, donating over $150,000 to those efforts. (And that’s just from the eight congregations who responded to our survey!)

Through everything from bell ringing for the Salvation Army and filling shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child (5,034 boxes and counting!) to providing gifts, food, and clothing to families in need, FEC congregations are sharing Jesus’ love with the people next door—and around the world. In addition, you’re slated to give over $3,000 to benefit missions, church plants, the FEC Benevolence Fund, and Habitat for Humanity. Some churches produce highly technical musicals for audiences in the thousands; others offer a simple night of caroling and a plate of cookies to lonely people next door. One congregation even hands out rolls of scotch tape at the local mall!

No matter the size of the production or the cost of the gift, one thing is certain. FEC congregations are reaching lost and hurting people with the message of Jesus’ love, peace, and hope. Thank you for all the ways you care for those around you—and be looking for more surveys on our Facebook page in the coming year!
