Conference 2026 – Pressing On2026-04-14T10:44:33-04:00

April 23 & 24, 2026
FEC’s Leaders Conference

Our Location:

Conference 2026 will be held at the beautiful Mirro Event Center in Fort Wayne, IN – 10622 Parkview Plaza Dr, Fort Wayne, IN 46845.  The Mirro Center partners with non-profits to provide an elegant, state-of-the-art facility that promises to create a unique and memorable two days.

Our Theme:

Pressing On: The Power of Pursuing Christ Together

This year’s theme draws inspiration from Paul’s letter to the Philippians—an encouraging and joy-filled call to persevere in faith. As Paul reflects on the deep relational bonds and gospel partnership he shared with the Philippians, he presses on with unwavering commitment to Christ. In the same spirit, we aim to encourage, empower, and envision FEC leaders to pursue Christ with renewed passion—together. Through shared ministry, mutual encouragement, and a clear focus on the gospel, we press on—united in purpose and fueled by joy.

Our Goal:

These two days of sharing in worship, teaching, and fellowship together are designed to unite, encourage, and empower FEC leaders for their specific contexts and ministries.

Featured Speakers

Derwin Gray

Dr. Walter Kim

On Thursday, Dr. Walter Kim will get us started by exploring the value of pressing on in gospel partnership together.

We’re thrilled to once again welcome Walter Kim back to our conference.  He is the president of the National Association of Evangelicals. He previously served as a pastor at Boston’s historic Park Street Church and at churches in Vancouver, Canada and Charlottesville, Virginia, as well as a campus chaplain at Yale University. He preaches, writes and engages in collaborative leadership to connect the Bible to the intellectual and cultural issues of the day. He regularly teaches in conferences and classrooms; addresses faith concerns with elected officials and public institutions; and provides theological and cultural commentary to leading news outlets. He serves on the boards of Christianity Today, World Relief, and The Salvation Army, USA. Kim received his Ph.D. from Harvard University in Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations, his M.Div. from Regent College in Vancouver, and his B.A. from Northwestern University.

Dr. Dave Rahn

On Friday Morning, Dr. Dave Rahn will explore the necessity of pressing on in joy propelled leadership.

Dave Rahn is mostly retired, enjoying his five grandchildren, serving his local church, and offering research contributions to TENx10.org. He co-mingled 41 years with Youth For Christ and 30 years as a professor at Huntington University. He’s published over 100 articles and numerous books and loves integrating social science research (Ph.D., Purdue) with practical theology (M.A., Wheaton) as long as he can be playful and testify about Jesus. He and his wife Susie are nearing 50 years of marriage and live in Middlebury, Indiana.

These sessions are designed to inspire and encourage us all to keep moving forward together in faith.

On Israel
Pastor Mark Clausing and Pastor Nashwan Saadoon, Hayat Jadida, Toledo, OH

Additionally, like politics, local churches are becoming more polarized on their views of Israel as war continues. Mark, with the help of Nashwan, is sharing his research and understanding of the American Church’s theological and cultural divide between those who support and who oppose the modern State in order to bring clarity and promote unity in local FEC churches.
