Most people are familiar with Miracle Camp and Retreat Center’s summer camps—and for good reason. Through nine different sessions this past year alone, they shared the message of Christ’s love with a record 1,546 children and youth. If you’ve been a member of an FEC congregation for very long, chances are good that you’ve sent a child to summer camp—or attended one yourself!

What people may not realize is that ministry doesn’t end when they send that last summer camper home. Quite the contrary. Miracle Camp and Retreat Center actually hosts hundreds of retreats throughout the year, offering everything from Ice Camp and Family Camp to men’s and women’s retreats…and more. The program staff even works with individual groups and churches to create custom retreat experiences. Here’s why. “Over the years, we’ve discovered that when people find themselves in a new and temporary setting, they are more open to change,” says Dale Boone, Miracle Camp and Retreat Center’s executive director. “We’ve seen God use this environment to draw people closer to Himself time and time again.”

In 2015, Miracle Camp and Retreat Center will have one more reason to celebrate, marking 50 years of impacting people for Christ. To learn more about Miracle Camp and Retreat Center and their upcoming retreats and celebrations, please visit their website at http://www.miraclecamp.com.
