After two years of searching for just the right meeting space, River City Church in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is slated to move into a new, more permanent location this June. And while it’s been a long time in coming, God has provided above and beyond what they were looking for. With three separate rooms and over 2800 square feet of meeting space, the new location offers plenty of flexibility for all their ministry needs—everything from Sunday gatherings and the River City Preschool Co-op to their partnership with a local youth outreach, and more! “God is providing for every detail,” says Eric. Whether it’s the architect and interior designer who provided their services pro bono, drywall installed by friends, or even the people who stopped by to help the church members paint, the whole process has come together smoothly. “We even have someone donating chairs,” says Eric.

Even more important than the new space, however, is the ministry taking place at River City Church, regardless of the four walls surrounding them. Take the person who had never opened a Bible in her life before meeting Eric and his family, for example. Or the two people who were baptized recently in response to their new life in Christ. “The building is just a tool,” says Eric. “I’ve told our congregation that our new space is like our embassy, and we are the ambassadors for Christ in our community.” For all the latest details on this next stage of their journey, visit RiverCity.Church.
