Bethel Fellowship Church is nestled in the middle of Missouri, halfway between St. Louis and Kansas City. Fortuna, Missouri, is the kind of idyllic setting with green pastures, woods, and farmland, where you’d expect to find a white church with a steeple. Bethel traces its beginning to 1867, but its leaders are excited to be a part of FEC initiatives in the U.S. and around the world after attending the annual conference in Denver this year.

Pastor Jerry Bush has been leading the church since 2019, and each year he tells church leaders how much he enjoys FEC conferences. This year, the church board and their wives decided to go to the conference in Denver.  While there, they heard Larry Osborne speak.  Larry is the author of Sticky Teams, a church leadership book Bethel leaders have been reading together. And they were challenged by Nancy Moore, who leads NL Moore and Associates, to assess Bethel’s direction and strategy. Most importantly, each leader was able to see how Bethel is a part of the bigger mission of FEC.

Jerry said, “We were all glad that we went. It was beneficial to us and to the church.” Upon returning, they agreed to send leaders again next year
