How Grace Crossing is extending a message of hope to Moundridge, Kansas, and surrounding communities

Imagine a group of people coming together for a single mission: to reach disconnected people, equip them, and then engage them in reaching even more disconnected people. This is exactly what Grace Crossing, Moundridge, Kansas, has become. What started as a core group focused on a rural town of 1,800 people is now a growing church of over 225 each week, reaching communities up to an hour away.

“Since our launch in November of 2012, we have seen over 75 decisions made, 43 baptisms, 50 people equipped in our discipleship system, and over 80 people trained for different ministry areas,” says Jason Rains, pastor. Of course, the numbers tell only part of the story. Not only is the church’s worship services being viewed at local retirement communities throughout the week in addition to the live services on Sundays; Grace Crossing has also developed a thriving ministry to residents at a local recovery center. “We’re seen tremendous fruit from this relationship,” Jason says.

“In a season where we have had to focus on renovating a building to call home, we have relied on God to sustain the ministry, and we have been nothing short of humbled and blessed to see what He continues to do in, around, and through Grace Crossing.” To learn more about this thriving ministry, visit http://www.gracecrossing.tv.
