Shortly after the devastating tornados struck southern states last week, FEC churches began announcing volunteer relief opportunities, linking interested church members with reputable organizations equipped to make a difference.
On April 29, Northwoods Community Church, Peoria, Illinois, announced its partnership with two national relief organizations, Samaritan’s Purse and Midwest Food Bank. Both organizations are bringing disaster relief to Arkansas, deploying teams to clear debris and distribute truckloads of recovery boxes. Click here to read more about these relief efforts.
