The Fellowship of Evangelical Churches is thrilled to welcome Living Water Fellowship, formerly Greeley Mennonite Church, into our fellowship! Located in Greeley, Colorado, this congregation has made the important decision—not just to join FEC—but to plant a church with us as well. “For a period of years,” explains Orlan Koehn, transitional pastor, “our congregation has had a growing interest in becoming more evangelistic. After some careful self-analysis, and realizing that the demographics of age has caught up with us,” says Orlan, “we need to do something dramatically different from what we’ve done in the past, especially if we want we to be a viable church.”

Leaning on the wisdom, experience, and leadership at FEC, Living Water Fellowship is ready to make a difference for the sake of the Gospel. “I’m impressed with how God has moved the people here to become more willing to do things that are quite different,” says Orlan. “Church planting initiatives don’t follow the status quo. We want that. We’re willing to have our equilibrium disturbed. We want to be—and launch—a viable and vibrant community of faith, where people hear about Jesus for the first time.”

Please be praying for the right church planter, and that God would lead them to the place where He already has people ready to hear this good news!
