“As soon as we pulled up the drive

[at LifeChange Camp], we felt the presence and peace of God.” This comment, spoken during a recent women’s retreat, is an answer to prayer for Bill and Carol Anderson, who founded LifeChange Camp in Clinton, Missouri, over 12 years ago, with the goal of providing a place where God is glorified and people’s lives are changed. Today, that dream has become a reality for hundreds of people every year.

Take the camper who arrived at camp, rough and hardened to everyone and everything around him. This behavior continued until God showed Bill what this young man carried with him everywhere—a baseball glove. “In Exodus, God asked Moses ‘What is in your hand?’” says Bill. “In the same way, God was showing me that I can use whatever is at my disposal to open a crack in someone’s life and impart spiritual truth.” When Bill pulled his old glove out of the closet and started playing catch with the camper, a conversation developed, ending with the young man sharing that he might like to be a pastor someday. This is just one of many conversations that have lead to changed hearts and lives through the years. To learn more about all the ways God is moving at LifeChange Camp, visit lifechangecamp.org.
