Nearly 25 years in the making, LifeChange Camp is a dream come true for Bill and Carol Anderson, who co-founded this outdoor camp and retreat ministry by establishing LifeChange Foundation, Inc., which purchased and developed 80 acres nestled in the heart of the Ozarks. “We own nothing,” says Bill. “If we walked away tomorrow, all we would take with us are the memories of lives that have been changed.” Some of those lives include a troubled youth who turned his back on addictions, an atheist who surrendered her life to Christ, and a bully and bully victim who discovered God’s healing and forgiveness…all within the unique setting a camp and retreat center offers. “Something amazing and powerful happens when people let down their guards, remove themselves from the tyranny of the urgent, and open their hearts to what God will say,” says Bill. “That’s why we developed this ministry—to help churches across the Midwest strengthen their ministries in a peaceful, rustic setting.”
