A three-day rest and relaxation trip for pastor and spouse to Southern California, with the home of Tom & Marcia Bennardo in San Clemente, CA serving as a bed-and-breakfast type accommodation.

Walk along the beach, surf and swim, hike the hillside trails, visit tourist sites, or just relax and enjoy a break in the beauty of the west coast.

The SoCal Escape is designed to provide a time away at minimal cost to the pastor and his spouse:

  • The pastor’s church is asked to cover air transportation to and from the Orange County/Santa Ana airport.

  • Airport pickup and drop-off is available upon request.

  • Hosts provide breakfast and snacks.

  • FEC provides a small per diem toward activities.

  • Available to all FEC lead pastors and their spouses.

San Clemente is a coastal surf community on the Pacific Ocean, mid-way between Los Angeles and San Diego.

  • 7 Minutes from the beach
  • 45 minutes from attractions such as Disneyland, Legoland, and Knotts Berry Farm.
