A weekend of

  • personal rest and refreshment
  • connection with the Heavenly Father
  • mutual spiritual formation

for all FEC female credentialed ministry staff and pastors’ wives.

Join with other female leaders in the FEC family for a guided time of soul care and focus on spiritual health, experienced among others sharing the same journey.

Provided free of charge (your church will be invited to participate financially in a small amount if they’re able).

  • Two year, twice-per-year set of retreats and corresponding elements designed specifically for spiritual leaders.
  • Cohort-based groups that walk together through guided times of connection and intentional growth in focused areas of a leader’s spiritual formation.
  • Open to all credentialed ministry staff within FEC, as well as to pastor’s wives.

FEC is committed to the long-term spiritual health of its leaders, so every credentialed church staff person in the FEC family is both invited and urged to take part in this provision, free of charge.

Facilitated by FEC’s soul care team, THRIVE participants are led through a spiritual formation track tailored for those in ministry roles, developing an intentional pursuit of personal vibrancy and the fullness of joy and strength in spirit, soul, and body:

  • The twice-per-year retreats are held in spring and fall—spanning two years—at a regional location.
  • Gender-specific cohorts are guided through 2½ days designed uniquely for spiritual leaders. Each retreat focuses on two of 8 dimensions of the pastoral leader’s soul health: spiritual, mental, emotional, physical, relational, familial, technological and missional.
  • An emphasis is placed on addressing the unique challenges and pressures vocational ministry people face as they endeavor to serve God from a full and healthy soul.
  • Sessions include instruction times, interactive elements, and guided exercises to connect personally with God in authentic and soul-refreshing ways.
  • Retreats include built-in times for rest, personal time, and unhurried reflection.
  • Between retreats, the group continues connections in smaller clusters for ongoing support, encouragement, accountability, and friendship.
Two regional cohorts for men launched in fall of 2023 and are now closed.  Contact the FEC office for details on when additional men’s cohorts will form.
